New Kasei HID headlights from Redlinemax.com *PICS*

I ventured over to Initial D where 97maxgurl just happened to be working and picked up a set of 8000K HID's. At first my left headlight was way to high and it was blinding people, but they'll get over it and I then re-adjusted it and they look pretty sweet and bright.

They give off a slightly purple look, but it's all good.

My next project is to get rid of the bumper lights so they're off all the time because no bulb will ever match the brightness of the HID's and I'm going to make the corner light blink (I act as if this has never been done before, but I know it has been done). And then my next goal is to get the matching foggy's

They look a lot like mine...how do you like that much color? I think I have lost a bit of output upgrading to 8500k.

yea one of my boy's got an evo 8 almost identical to the one on the right of your pick ange...blows me out the water.

is that the 8500k (96shogunmax) or is that the new high/low beam 8k that ange sells? you say 8k on your post but 96shogun said "same one he has" which is 8500k...just wondering....

LOOKS great btw, and Hamy, i love that pic, purple

I've had this done for several months now, looks much better. It's simple. Just unplug the side marker lense so it won't like up and clip the wire for the turn signal and run it to the corner light, done!

Yea I'm sure it could be done somehow. I just use mine as a turn signal though cuz nothing looks good next to the HID heads and fogs...-

imo, you should never go above 6000K with hids. after that, the light output dramatically decreases. 6000k give great light output and they have absolutely no hint of yellow no matter what angle u look at them from.

oops, thats not what i meant. i meant that for the stock 4300k hid bulbs. when u look at them from certain angles, you can see hints of yellow. with 6000k, the light ouput decrease is very little and barely notcieable plus its white with a small hint of blue.

i bet if you were to switch to 6000k, you would love them more than the 8000k.
