Fall Foliage Max and new emblem pics

Hey all!
I went out yesterday and got some pics of my Max with the fall foliage as its nearing its peak around here. I also put on my Maxima emblem on my grilltech grill today and got a pic of that. The grilltech looked a lil to plain for me so I added the emblem. Let me know what you think.
peace.

Looks good. I had the same emblem except silver on my JMS grill before I returned it. Now the question is...will you be able to get that emblem off once the grille-tech rusts up on you in about a month???

Do you just have to take out the old grill and then insert the Grill Tech one? I have a Trenz Grill but now I really want the grill you have and wanted to know how easy it was to install. Thanks and Nice Ride!!

Very very simple.
Remove oem grill. (hardest part, stupid sockets.)
New one installs with zip ties.

Zip Ties?

It installs with Zip ties, both the main grill and the valences? Does it secure tight enough so it won't rattle!!

So you just unbolt the OEM grill which has 3 bolts and the grill tech one goes in with zip ties. Oh one more thing, do you see the zip ties after completing the install?

Yes. It has a weather stripping type seal around the outside for a tight fit.
Yes you can see the gray zip ties from about 3 feet away. Any further and they disappear.

That's weird...when I was installing mine I thought the hardest part was zip tying the new one. I had the OEM one out in less than 5 minutes. Also, I used clear zip ties that I bought myself rather than the black ones that came with the grill and it was much harder to see them.

That's a bummer that you can see the Zip Ties, I don't mind the fact that no one would be able to see it from far away but when people really want to look at your ride and see how much you take care of it and they see zip tiers, thats not for me. Wish there was a way to hide the zip ties or use something else to hold the grill in there. Do you think theres another way to secure it without using zip ties?

Looks like cheap mesh you can get from home depot for like 2 bucks... I think all the mesh grill stuff is a rip off. Just my opinion, not trying to bash ya. Well I guess it sounds like it, but I'm not trying too.

Actually, I've seen several cars done with cheap Home Depot mesh and these are 10x nicer looking. The problem is that no matter what you do as far as clear coating them the grille-tech ones always seem to rust.

The HomeDepot stuff is extremely cheap. This stuff is 18 guage steel. It isn't as flimsy, is heavier and grilltech is much better quality. I've made a grill out of the stuff from HD before...its actually mesh that goes over your gutters to keep leaves out. I had it on a car for a year and it never rusted.

I like the bottom grill, but the big one that replaces the Nissan emblem still isnt that attractive. It looks pretty good with your car and all tho - I do like your clear corners. Looks great!

I'm not a big fan of the nissan emblem or the grill that was in the front.
PLUS a rock took a really huge chunk out of the chrome on it and it looked bad. So I decided just to get a different one.

Wait til you see what happened to my car last night during the wind storm. I'll post pics thurs noon. I just got home from work and am tired out.

It was bumped when someone decided to vote in the poll.
