FOr the glass use a razorblade..Other than that for the paint i used a little bit of windex to get off the paint..Dont leave it on too long or it will damage your paint...Make sure once you wipe off the windex to clean the spot where the sap was...Just rub the $hit out of it, and eventually it will come off..But yes it is a pain..

I would get some clay (Clay Magic, etc.). It might take a couple of bars, but at least you wouldn't have to worry about it hurting your paint. Good luck!

GET IT OFF FAST!!!! Go to wal mart and get the bug & tar remover , get the BIG can because you'll need it and it is a PIA to get off. If you leave it on the paint too long it will spot. Got it on my cars before and waited too long to get it off... BIG mistake. Good luck.

3M Tar and Adhesive remover would be effective in this case.

I ended up getting it off, I woke up at 6:00 the morning after keeping my car in the shade all day while i was 'working'

I washed my car with Meguires Gold Class, used Acetone for the windows, used turtle wax's bug and tar remover along with Meguiars Step one of the 3 step paint cleaner to get rid of the more stubborn residue

overall it came out nice!

Dave... jeeez just ask Andy how bad it was next time we meet up... it was horrible

thanks guys for the advice!
