i just went to the store looking for something to hide my scratches. i looked for meguires scratch x but they didnt have it. i got Turtle Wax's Color Cure Car Polish for black cars. they say it hides scratches and improves color. is this a good product to use?

 

How deep are the scratches?

 

Depending on how your surface is I have had great succuss with meguairs swirl remover 2.0 or 3m mirror or hand glaze and a rotary buffer but be careful especially with a black car. Hand buffing is always good for the arms and shoulders and you won't burn your paint. Hope this helps.

 

200 grit sandpaper works pretty well as long as its dry...and warm
