i really doubt that an auto gets that... my average is around 24.5 mpgs and i drive 75-25 city/hwy and i drive pretty hard

The display is wayyyy off if it says you're getting 35-40 MPG in 6th...

While my mileage is terrible in rush hour, usually getting no more than about 20-21mpg, my auto gets great gas mileage on the highway. I usually average around 31-35mpg while driving on the highway. This is actual mileage and not the cars computer which is consistantly 3mpg off.

my 6-speed is turning 3k rpm at 93, his is going 84 at 3k rpm.
so, if he speeds up he'll have more rpm and get less mileage... or if I slow down I'll have less rpm and get better mileage.
