Driving my wife's 02 Maxima SE 6spd on a road trip (thank gawd it wasn't my 03 350Z). Anyway, my driver's side fog lamp has a hole in it, probably from a rock. The light still works, but I am trying to find out where can I can I get an OEM replacement housing? All I need is the lens cover. I really want to get out of this relatively cheap, like $50 or less.

The dealer wants $170. UHHHH, no way.......

Also, I tried to purchase a fog light on-line, and the person I was going to order the fog light asked me if it was 2 prongs or 3 prongs. What the heck is she talking about?

This is a common problem with the 02-03 foglights. I had the same thing happen less than 2 months of having the car. Nissan laughed in my face and said that a rock hit it and they would not cover it. I tried to seal the hole but because of the heat of the fog lamps, it just cracked further. I ended up buying the whole fog light kit. It included both fog lights, relay and switch for inside the car.


I sure you could find someone on this board that could use the other one.

What that person meant by 2 or three prongs is how the fog light is mounted. The 02-03 fog lights have 2 prongs.

Great, it helps a lot. I can get one replacement lens online for under $60. I do not need the other one nor the relay or switch.
