Never quite got the concept of shaved doors, maybe it's just me, I'll admit that much. Isn't the whole idea behind a door is to have a handle or some other device with which to open it?

yeah yeah time out... how would you be able to open the doors?... I was thinking to just shave the back doors only and have then open the door from the inside... but how do you open the car if you shaved the front doors too?

Remote controlled solenoids. I bought a set of shaved doors off of another guy's project car. You can just get a power door lock actuator and just wire them up to the handle mechanism instead of the lock, and use a keyless entry remote. That's what I plan on having done when my car comes out of storage.

Sounds feasible, but would this just unlock the door, and then you slip your fingers to the edge and pull?

Don't get me wrong, your car looks real nice all shaved and all. I was just looking at it from a practical perspective. Then again it's your car.

you can just get a popper to pop the door open so you can open it.

"Popper" being a second solenoid that mounts in the door and pushes against the frame to open the door?
