My friends antenna on his 98 max won't go all the way down. WHat could be the problem?

 

There is a cord inside the antenna that pulls it down/pushes it up. it could be stripped. look at my homepage, my antenna got ripped off and its turned out for the best, i dont even think you can notice it. the max has a second antenna in the rear window so he'll still get good radio reception if he takes it out, i actually got better reception after it was gone.

 

The rear window is not a good antenna and is only made to work with the regular antenna for better reception.

 

Works great for me.
