2 months in my new ride, a couple ???? & pics!!

I've had my new beast for a couple months and I was wondering if any of you guys (or gals) have come accross this...... it seems like my windshield has a permanent fog to it. And it's not like it's on the glass it seems like it's IN the glass. I've tried everything as far as cleaning it and it does no good. I noticed in the corner of the windshield it says 'Laminated'.....is that something that could go bad? I'll probably end up taking it in and seeing if a service guy has any idea but I thought I'd ask here also.

Other thoughts about the car.......I dont like how light the doors are, too many times I've given it a shove to close it only to have it not shut all the way. The overhead dome light is pretty much useless it doesn't give much light. The turning radius on this car SUCKS!! I dont know how many times I've tried a parking spot only to have to stop, back-up, and get in on the 2nd try. Other than that...I LOVE THIS CAR!!

Some pics I took yesterday.....

And my FAVORITE part----

That's a purty color.

Have you tried cleaning the inside and outside of the windshield? Did you buy it new? Is their a polarizing tint on the front windshield? Other than that I like the light doors (I was driving a 94 Dodge Dakota before) and the turning radius is bad but I ain't complaining.

Yeah I tried cleaning inside & out, several times for both.....no luck. There is no polarizing tint on it. I bought the car 2 months ago w/ 18,000 miles on it. I'm going to stop in at Nissan during the day tommorrow and see what they think.

GTPguy97,

I read in the owners manual that if your windshield is fogging up inside, that its time to replace the microfilter behind your glove box.

Congrats! Beautifull car(color)! Turning into parking spots in this car teaches u to turn in from a farther
distance to make the cut-I came from a two door so it ****ed me off when I had to back up before pulling into my driveway in my townhome- Change those interior bulbs with some PIAA's/Eurolites and its a world of a difference- The 6speed/3.5V6 compensates for all the annoyances u may find in the car

Thanks for all the compliments, this blue is awesome. I almost bought a black one & then this car popped up in Dallas......it was worth the 15 hour drive back to Chicago.

Nice, I have the same car. I just switched to MT-90 (Redline) and I think the shifting has improved (less notchy)

Enjoy.

Nice! Never really liked the blue till I saw your pics...looks great during the day. I agree, get the tint...Max looks great tinted...

I see you got the nose mask too. How do you like it??
I was thinking about getting the nose mask to protect the front bumper.
Not sure how it would look on my black Max though.

Looks good!

Thanks, I always have a bra on my cars....I love the way they look and the stone chip protection. Colgan makes the best bras without a doubt, and now they have a Carbon Fibre effect which really looks bad-***. It's $110 and well worth every penny. I had 2 SHO's before I had my GTP, one of them was black & I loved the way the bra (Colgan of course) looked on that car.

I've noticed a couple people talking about the Redline MT90, what is the cost on that stuff? Do you buy it and then take it somewhere and have them install it? DIY? Thanks!

I like that color yeah the turning radius does suck but eventually you will get used to it.It's just annoying when you can't make uturns on certain streets.

OK, I've found that the Redline MT90 costs about $8.50 a quart, but I've also come accross a couple places saying that you should not use this stuff for street applications in cold weather climates. I'm in Chicago, should I not make the switch? Thanks.
