Stock. Friend of mine adviced me to put 225/60/17 because they cost less.

this is all in the FAQ... how about reading that?

go to the top of the forum and click on the FAQ thread, then look down for the discussion on tires. There are literally pages and pages arguing both sides. Nothing has changed in the nature of "tire-building" or the natural laws of physics so there's really no more to say here that wasn't already discussed there.

I have the Kumho Ecsta MX tires in 235/45/17 and I am happy with them. Much better/cheaper than the stock tires.

I got a quick question...does the tire wall size go up at all from a 225/40 -18 to a 245/40 -18?? My wheels look too small on my ride, so I'm going wider (225 to 245) but now I'm wondering if I should go for a 245/45 -18 series. Any thoughts? Oh, and will that affect my speedo a whole ton (I know this is probably all listed in the FAQ, but it's a pain reading through all that!)

245/45 will affect speedo, and if ur streets aren't horrible u can go 245/40 safely...

if u got alot of potholes like NYC, then go 245/45, speedo is off like 3miles or so, no biggie IMO

Well, I have 225/40 18's on now...so 245/40's should be ok ride wise. I just think they don't fill up my wheel well very good. My car has maxspeeds and the drop looked fine with the 17"s...but with the 18"s, it doesn't look low enough. Weird?

Here's a great tire size calculator that will easily answer your questions.
