Finished installing ST Springs and Struts.
Got them for $345 shipped off of ebay.
So far, not too bad. The drop is a pretty good amount, but it doesn't look outrageously slammed, unless you park it next to stock and compare. The only problem I have is that the tires are too tall and they rub slightly when I go around really sharp corners.

niiice man, you end up doing them yourself? I could have helped if you asked...
I ended up doing them with my dad. It took me about 2 hours per side. It was really great, when we were both cranking down the spring compressors it went fast.
So far, the ST struts seem pretty soft compared to some KYB's I felt in a G20. They don't do a lot of bouncing; it's more like they go up, then sit back down and stay there, but they're definitely not harsh. As for quality, I can't say for now, it hasn't been long enough.
The drop SUPPOSEDLY was 1.8" and I'm guessing it's around 1.5" or more. If you look at the 1st and 2nd images in the gallery, that's the before/after front wheel gap.
oh, and the tires are 225/55R16.

please keep me posted on quality and your impression of the struts after youve driven on em a while. hit me up on aim cyberbeast21 or email cyberbeast21@comcast.net thanks

I'm only going to drop the front of my car, full out drag race setup
looks good! I was actually going to ask you about your setup, but now I dont need to. It looks like I'll be going with a Eibach/Tokico setup (used though). Your price surprised me though, then again I haven't put much effort into researching it.
btw, if you want new wheels, and those will clear 300zx brakes, lmk
looking good.

now, heres the clincher. I thought my eyes were just tweaking out, but with measurements to prove it, my ride is really uneven. I'm pretty sure it's just the springs settling at different rates. If not, that should be a warranty issue.
Front Right: 24.25" ground to fender, 1/2" wheel gap.
Front Left: 25" ground to fender, 1" wheel gap.
Rear Right: 24.75" ground to fender, <1" wheel gap.
Rear Left: 25.5" ground to fender, 1" wheel gap.
I'll keep an eye on these measurements, and if they don't even out, I'm calling BS to the manufacturer.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.
It's late and I'm not quite all here
well, I DO hate my wheels with a passion, but I'm not in the financial position to get some new ones yet. (damn deposits for apartment. Can you belive it's more than double the rent, just for deposits?! It's costing me almost $1000 to move into a smaller apartment thats only $410 a month.)
Anyway, unless EB wants to part with his wheels, and he doesn't I probably should wait until spring.

But back on topic - I've got the ST struts (front/rear) and have had them for roughly 6 months thus far. I have to agree with Spipedong90 that the ride isn't all that harsh with those and the stock springs. Now, when I added my Sprint springs, it got kinda rough. Not so much as to make it unbearable mind you, but you definately "feel" the road.

Can anyone else post the measurements of their cars?
I'll go grab a tape and measure my stock ride height. I'll post back in a few.
I'm trying to find out which springs I can get with the most drop and not scrape coming in and out of my driveway (our driveway has a pretty sharp drop on an 18* grade I think.)

wow, I forgot to check this thread yesterday.
look at all the whoring you seattle guys are doing!

Mine are ever so slowly starting to even out. It's looking better and better.
Also, I bet someone here wants to make me a sig pic too.
I'll keep updating...

I like the springs well, but I'm still wishing the ST shocks were a little stiffer. I haven't quite killed the body roll I wanted to. They make a good stock replacement with mild improvement.

As for the original posts on the ride height difference...
from my experience in lowering trucks and BMW's and other cars, there's almost always a difference in how the springs are made and that will determine how much "sag" you'll get. A half-an-inch to an inch difference side to side is considered normal in many venues. Could be due to suspension component wear, tire wear etc. H&R springs are the only ones I've found that maintain a constant "sag" rate after installation. Eibachs and ST"s are great springs though too. Are the springs completely seated in the spring pockets?
Damn I typed too much...apology!
Anyway car looks great if ya ask me. I'm still debating on what suspension to go with...
Alright, just a quick update for those who are interested. It's been about a month now, and the ride has actually stiffened up a little. The ride height at the corners still hasn't evened out. The main problem, which is to be expected, is that the harsh ride brings out all the rattles and clunks in other parts of the car. I have something in the trunk that bounces around alot now, and it's not the suspension. Possibly the spare tire cover or the tire itself. I'll have to check closer.
