I was on my to work, when I came to a curve in the road, I hit a patch of dirt/ice and that was all she wrote. I spun off the road and into some trees. Well the estimates I got are about $7000-$7500, but I only have to pay the $500 deductable, and I also get a rental car for about month while it s is fixed. The only positive thing I can see is that I will be basically get a new paint job. I wanted the whole front end repainted this spring because of small rock chips from the previous owner who lived in Boston. The body shop said even parts not damaged would have to be repainted in order to match the color up. Im sure my premiums are gonna sky rocket though.

were you going fast?

Seems like the Maxima is pretty good for the most part, even in snow. The only time it feels shaky is when the speed is up there, then the steering is too light. The ABS didn't help you steer?

I don't know if that is a reflection or what, but is there another big dent in the front by the wheel? Well, it is only a car (a nice car, but a car). If you and the tree are still in one piece then everything's okay .
