My 1990 Max digital display will not turn on when its less then 10 degrees Celcuis. When it is cold i just drive for a min or 2 and it turns on. Any one have the same/simmilar problem and possibly found a solution?

Bad solder joint. Had the same problem on My old blazer. but I just sent it out for repair.
OTOH o my acura when half the lights didn't works on the dash. It was diagnosed as a bad solder joint and repaired at my uncle's shop. Resoldered it and it still works

Do a search on "Climate Control" - there is a thread started by Martin where I posted some potential solutions to that problem - might work... always better to DIY then pay.
