That looks cool. Reminds me of the new mini cooper.

You get props for the most unique max on this board for sure.

Shaved--

You have mad skills. What do you do for a living? Really, if your are not already, you really, really need to be in the auto design/manufacturing business.

Good luck. Heck, you might be the one to put in a VQ35 with 6spd combo.

Ummm, I think Antonthegrey is seeing the old car in the sig, and seeing the interior pics, but isnt realizing the old car is infact a sig pic and has nothing to do with the pictures of the cars interior.

that's an awesome job man!! i'm not really much of a center gauge cluster guy though. what I would have done is make your maxima right hand drive! that would be one sweetass maxima!

damn... now that i think of it i want to make my maxima rhd.

You've gotten entirely too carried away with this...

You definitely are the most unique...

Now what would be really trick is if you managed to graft working airbags on each side...

thanks everyone. no it's never enough as some of my closer 3rd gen friends know. i needed to do something to the interior, my fiancee has a toyota echo ( the originator (i think) to the whole cluster in the middle thing) and i had done it to a friend's civic, bu that was never finished. this week will be slow on the buildup, but ill have pics as i go along

are you going to re-route the ac vents? or you just going to do away with them?

ac vents and defrost will stay for creature comfort.

i used expandable foam to get the shape and then ill glass over that. the foan is sturdy enough that yu can sand it into shape, but super light. the dash now weighs as much as it did or less. i put another coat of the foam on and shaped that but i idnt get a chance to take pics. more or less the same though

just expandable insulation type foam, in a can, easier to use than the stuff they use on monster garage and probably cleaner

shaved- u should re locate the drivers seat right in-front of the guages.. and make the car a 3 seater like the MclarenF1.... then have all the guages wraping around ur face as if u were flying the mellenium falcon.. 4 real! <--i have a copyright on this idea.. 300 bucks and its yours

inside- it looks stupid now.. but i know when its done it would look fat like a show car.
but the exterior of the car is jaw droping good work
damn.. i read to much super street

dam juan what gave you the idea to do this? imo im not really crazy over all this center-gauge cluster design today but this is still an awesome idea/project. So long as we have you and tony around, mods are endless

it reminded me a little of the Alpine Civic where they moved everything to the center of the car.. seat, pedals, shifter

and yea the suspension parts are yours, maybe the weekend after this we can tackle it, im busy for this weekend as of now
