Hey shaved, I did some minor dash mods to my old S10 just like how you are but no where near as crazy. One problem I had though was the fiberglass ate through the foam and caused my work to sag in a bit needing more filler.

What brand of foam did you use to do this? and how are you finishing it? (paint, viynal, cloth, etc)

and yea the suspension parts are yours, maybe the weekend after this we can tackle it, im busy for this weekend as of now

Jay and Juan, Let me know i can help you guys..

Juan I must say, i know you had your heart in mind in this project but i'll be damn!!! That is one hot mod your doing. And the fun part is bring it together. Keep up the work bro, I guess the 3rd gen NYC/LI crew should set up a shop and specialize in 3rd gen custom fabrication.

Btw, that hacked dash looks familiar., and its burgendy just like my old gxe's after i was done with it from my black conversion jay, joe and i did awhile back:

i wonder whats next on Juans project list, Maybe a removeable roof to ragtop convertible? Or how about delorean style gull wings??? Come on people think. What will he think of next(sounds like the fruit roll-ups ad)?

Yes I am done Izzy, just maintenance from now on. All I really would need is the ECU but not worth it for what I drive my car for. Now its time to save up for another car....thinking of 95 M3 way down the road Possibly also buying my bro's Eagle Talon just to have fun with a turbo car. We'll see how things go, but if you guys need help with anything I am usually free to give a hand.

If you are trying to go for more light output, and not just the cool color, go for 4100K HID's instead of the 8600k. 8600K HID's won't be as bright as 4100k HID's (3200 lumens vs like 2000 or something for 8600). Check up on www.hidforum.com for more info.

People just waste money on anything over 5k in HID's because as the color temperature increases, the amount of visible light decreases (which isn't always true for halogen, and why some people ended up buying the higher color temp lights).

oh you know. Sometimes the girls shoes need to be tied. It would only be proper to have her prop it up on the dash. I wish they would bring back LA Gears =(

Man that's lookin' good. How many hours do you have invested so far? You should really, really post a tutorial on fiberglassing, i've read a couple off of the net, but none that useful.

I hope your dash will turn out copper fiberglass.

(Or...whatever "exact" color your car is)
