I escaped with out a scratch... Man I got more injured shopping for cars today than in the accident... I walked into a ball hitch on a van while I was walking around the lot... It hurt like a b****

Ouch! but damn that car held together well.
Seems to be a reoccuring theme with 3rd gens (atleast VE's). I was involved in a 100mph + impact, myself and 3 passangers all walked away with out a scratch, all wearing seatbelts.

Holy sh*t, those cars make my accident look like a joke. Good to see you guys come out in one piece, maximas are obviously robust beasts.

Ooh damn... Max's seem to hold up quite nice in accidents. I got hit by a Civic before mine got totaled. The Civic was pretty bent-up but my Max only had a scratch or two.

I was being a stupid teenager without enough experience. I'm pretty sure a search can still find the old thread.

You damn kids are the reason insurance rates are so high, you are a high risk every time you get behind the wheel!! ( lol ), just kidding, I hope you at least learned a lesson. You play, you pay, but fortunately you paid with your car, instead of your life, and you're still here to talk about it. I'm pretty sure that ninety-two se was screwing around also. It's not worth it man.
Take care and take it easy, you'll live longer....

Im glad to see that your okay. I know what its like to lose one max and just buy another. Ive had 4. I dont mean to be a vulture man but I see that you have tan cloth interior. I have been searching for months for the black interior door panels with the tan cloth inserts. I know that you havent made a for sale list yet but can I get first dibs on those if they are the black ones with the tan inserts.

Well my accident was probably due to my inexperience.. but anyway I was driving on a road that goes by out school, its half paved and half dirt... Just after the road went to dirt(like 100m at most) my back end slid out, I dunno how(I was doing 40, speed limit is 35) but I lost control and over corrected and hit/went into the deep ditch, like 2 feet deep, which caught my bumper and I flipped...

ILOVEMYSE- I'll make a note that you want those, I'm pretty sure that the plastic clips that hold them on are broken but they stay on pretty well with just the screws...

Glad to see that you're alright after a roll like that. Those rolls can be dangerous. I'd be interested in your taillights and center finisher if you're getting rid of them. I've been wanting 92-94 SE trim tails for freakin' ever. Let me know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Damn, 4? I thought I held a minor record with 2 totalled ones. Let's see how long my third one's gonna last..

Probably one of the best investments you can do is to become the best driver you can imagine. Not just being defensive, but knowing how to really drive your car if you have to. Race track or on the street.

Sometimes learning to brake & apex corners correctly can save lives. I'd go take one of those performance driving classes if I were you. If everyone did, the world would be such a better place.

(then when you get your next maxima, you'll be buying big brakes and suspension equipment with good tires...hey christmas is coming up ).

Judicious use of the gas pedal can work in place of the brakes IF you know what you're doing

It looks like it held up quite well, how fast were you going when it happened? As a firefighter (13yrs) I have seen alot worse...alot. But, are you going to fix it or is it totaled?

KJ2THEMAX - The pass side tail lense is cracked(1 inch vertical crack) and the center reflecter is cracked for the length of it... so its probably not worth it...

cneary812 - I think its pertty much totaled, for the amount of time it would take me to fix it or pay someone else, it would make me have more into the car than its worth, luckily I knew that the dealer I bought the black one from had a white one... I'm going to keep the black one for parts but the interior is not the same as my new one so I will probably sell that...

MrRogerStatus - as for the rad. support I'll take a look at it on friday to see if I can get it off....
