Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Mileage

I saw a post somewhere saying they got 65,000 miles out of a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's. I am afraid to buy them because of their cost and the expected mileage. I was wondering what kind of mileage you folks are getting out of these?? If I can get close to 65,000...then I might spend the $$$ I am showing noticeable signs of wear on my OEM's at 17,500 miles....and I don't drive that hard on them.

I would expect that you could get 30k - no way 65k.

I did get 65,000 miles from my first set of Pilot A/S. My mileage is mostly highway. Put a new set on today from Costco.

Right now, I have over 65,000 miles on my Pilot A/S. I am at 3/32 treadlife and looking for a new set of these tires. So far, Costco seems to be the best in price with mount and balance.

I guess I need to drive a little differently if I want mine to last!!

By the way, I'm replacing mine via Costco as well. Best deal.

I got 54k out of the RE92's. Still had lots of tread when I replaced them. No have 41k on Pilot A/S. I fully expect to get 65k+. (Note: I have 235/50-17's on OEM rims). I do mostly highway driving.

Also got mine at Costco. Would buy from them again with no hesitation.

i got rid of my potenzas at about 19k. i could have taken them about 5k more but hated the wet traction. i replaced them with the a/s in 235/50/17 with stock rims then moved to 7.5" rim. ive got 22k out of them so far and will probably be able to take them another 10k-15k. in another 10k, im sure the traction will be degraded to the point where i will want to replace them. i drive fairly aggressively with regular alignments, balancing and rotation. whats the point of having limited slip if you dont use oftenly?

Last week, I just replaced my OEM rims with Pilot Sports A/S on them with a set of new 18" rims with tires. The mileage I had on the Pilots were close to 80,000 miles. I did mostly highway driving with sporatic spirited driving in between. I was truely impressed on how long they lasted. I was basically at down to 1/32" on treads before I replaced them. I rotated them every 3000 miles and maintained 32-33psi on all the tires. They are good tires and well worth the price for performance and wear life from my standpoint.
