for those who have taped theirs on, did it fade or is it fading? i spray painted mine on and they're fading. i kno i should paint the inside and put like 2 coats on but i'm wondering if the tape fades, cuz it's a lot easier to put tape on instead of having to take off the tailights and paint them.

 

how many coats did you spray on the first time ?

 

Take the tails apart and paint the inside.

 

clear coat or wax them if you painted the outside.

how many layers of paint should i put on if i wax them after...doesn't a lotta layers of paint dim the lights? i don't want my signals all dim...i want it to match the brightness of the brake lights. Thanx guys for helping.

 

iv had mines taped fo a while and they aren't fading, i am thinking of painting them cause my vinal got messed up around th cureved part of the light.

 

ok so i guess painting's the best option

 

2 paint coats, plus clear coat.and wax them every couple months..they shouldnt fade.. pics on homepage..
