Adjustable Struts in the Winter?

Hello all, I am thinking about picking up a set of KYB AGX's and I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experiances with them in the winter.

Specifically, I am wondering if all the salt, slush and crap on the road screws up the adjustment ***** on the rear struts?
Being up hear in the Great White North, These Canadian Winters can be pretty harsh.........
Do you think following 4-5 months of salty crappy cold weather they will operate O.K.?

I am not to sure if I should buy a sealed unit or not?
Any experiances or suggestions out there......

Let know what you think

Thanks

The adjustments will probably be fine, but AGXs are known for becoming very stiff in the cold weather. There are a lot of complaints about that.

Get Tokico Illumina adjustables. The adjustment ***** are up top on both front and rear units, away from all that nasty road grime. They also perform much better then AGX's. The Illumina ride quality blows the AGX's away.

Totally worth the extra money.

Do you think illuminas all around is better than illuminas in front and agx in rear?
