My Advice on Cattman Y install

Ok, I have some mechanical skill but not much. I ordered the Cattman Y pipe for my 2K2. I took a week from AZ to NY. Using Polo's guidelines I decided to install myself.

Well the person who had the car before me put in a high flow cat and I did not know that. The bolts were frozen completly. I needed a friend with a torch to cut them off and replace with new nuts and bolts.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO THIS ON A LIFT. It is near impossible to do on the ground with a jack.

The install took 2 1/2 hours not including the torch.

Tools needed 14mm 12mm 10mm and dremmel or small sawzall.

As for the product. A+

Very little sound difference and smoother, faster acceleration.

This Mod is worth it.

Thank you Polo and Cattman Performance.

good tips! All my bolts were frozen on, i needed a torch as well. Did your SES light come on? Mine did, but went away after a long drive. I am very happy with it. There is a change in exhaust noise, when i sit at idle and blip the throttle, dare i say it sound 350zish all in all VERY high quality product cattman! i think a B-pipe will be added soon!

B pipe is the pipe between the muffler section and the cat. You already have one if you have a Greddy Evo catback.
