headlight and daytime driving light going weird, help.

I have a 94 se, my headlight are going weird lately. When the headlight is on off(ie. daytime driving light on), my head light will switch from (not necessary in the order) bright driver side with passenger side off, both side off and both side on(normal daytime driving light). It happen everytime i drive it, but yet i still have headlight when i turn them on. In order word, i can drive the car at night with my headlight on, but it's a mess during the day with the daytime driving light.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Check your relays. sounds like it may also be a wire shorting out somewhere.

Mine has daytime running lights because it's Canadian.

Another possibility could just be the combination switch on the side of the steering wheel. After so many years the contacts had become corroded and totally worn out. I didn't get a lot of different symptoms, but I did experience the headlights not working properly. I got sick of taking the whole assembly apart and cleaning/inspecting everything only to have them conk out again after a month or two, so I paid for a new OEM switch. See if the problem changes or is fixed by jiggling, flicking it on/off, or tapping the highbeams on. I also got some arcing sound sometimes (bzzzzz....).

Sounds like you need head light fluid.

I got some here for you for $500.
