Hey Pat, look for an SE, you'll be glad you did. Less problems and a more powerful car. My .02 also.

Seems to be too expensive. Right off the back, you have a bad antenna. Depending on how the previous owner(s) took care of it, you may be looking at a tranny sometime in the future when the odo gets around 120K.

Ask question and have a very, very careful look.

Take JEFF's advice and search out a SE instead. Every since I got my SE, I may drive the GXE once every two weeks. The SE is waaaaayy more fun to drive.

My 1990 GXE has 225K miles on it and it has never gave me any problems yet. The tranny was just looked at and the engine was too. The mechanic said that everything was still in perfect cond. Just my .02

I would also say that the SE is the way to go. Just think, 30 extra hp...with no mods.

If you find a 5-speed, you'll really like it more

I wouldn't say less problems, especially if you're talking about a 92-94 SE with the VE engine, which is bound to run into problems such as ticking/broken VTC's, etc...

The VG in the GXE and early SE's is a less complicated engine, and can last well over 400k miles as proven by a member on this board.
