just got my greddy evo

ok i know that people have posted about this but id figure i would put my 2 cents in. ok after about a month of waiting (it was on back order) today i finally got it put on...let me just say it is a lot bigger than i thought i would be. i def think it was worth the 700 dollars (installation and price). i know i could have gotten it cheaper online somewhere but i dont trust the internet...well now about the exhaust....it is not as loud as i had expected but honestly this is what an exhaust should sound like...it sounds incredible in first but in the 0-60 range it is almost not noticable...but that is nothing some addition mods wont fix...the torque to me has a noticeable increase....if someone post ill talk more...but right now im gonna go test it out some more....peace

I love the performance but did not like the Maxwell House Coffee can look. Replaced the muffler with freeflowing generic muffler, quieter and still powerful. Added the Cattman Y and the car pulls like a monster. Enjoy.

Same here! It wasn't as loud as i expected when i put it on either. If you ever want to increase the note and performance a little more. A y-pipe will do the trick.

i got it from impo performance in philly....it was 665 sumthin....and 65 for installation...i did get jacked on install. but i didnt feel like searching for a cheaper shop to put it on......like i said i ordered it a month ago and i just wanted to get it on....yea i was thinking about either the y pipe or a cai as my next mod but to be honest with u i dont mind the maxwell coffe can on the back...it was a lot bigger than the pictures made it out to be...as i drove it a little more to day the tone started to sound a little better...so overall im happy with it.

make sure you shop around. You can find them for 500 shipped. Nice choice on exhaust!

700!? I got mine 475 installed. But anyways...good choice. I love mine coz it has a nice tone w/ my frankencar intake. I lost the snappiness at acceleration but faster pick-up in mid to hi-end. I personally love the so-called "coffee can".

Did anyone have to have an O2 bung welded into their Greddy EVO. I had my shop put my exhaust on, and I'm glad they did, because I don't have a welder.

Oh man...I love this setup even more after today. I was on a 2 merges into 1 lane and this mod'ed tacoma wont let me get get in...and there was only about 100 yds to merge. We were both from a stop, we both floored it..a lil burnout for both of us then i had a massive wheel hop. I smoked him from the get-go. Anyways, the point is that the greddy evo works good w/ the frankedcar/apexi setup. I went to a track w/ an injen cai and stock exhaust 3 months ago...when i floored it at the track (5 runs) it never had any wheel hops. But now w/ the greddy evo...im getting it...so my guess would be more torque/hp to the wheel? HEHEHHEE
