tank n trunk

is the gas tank located directly under the trunk, i was gonna have some sterio guys screw my box down to stop it from slidding around, but ive heard the gas tank is like built into the trunk floor. true or false?

false, it's more under the back seat, but you or the installer should get on your hands and knees to also make sure he doesn't hit any hoses/wires/etc.

notice, the tank is almost entirely in front of the rear axle... but you still need to make sure whatever screws you use don't hit something else.

2k2wannabe is correct. It's more like under the back seat. If the tank was right under the trunk, my car would have exploded when i got rear-ended (in which they had to replace the entire trunk floor)

If your "stereo guys" truly are professional stereo guys they will know where to drill and use screws not long enough to reach all the way down into the fuel cell
