No 235/45/17 for GLE at Costco?

Costco says 235/45/17 isn't listed in their computer as an allowable upsize for the 4th gen GLE (maybe the lower stock pro SE is) and that the only allowable size is 225/50. Has anyone else heard this from Costco?

Maybe he looked up the data for 5th Gens instead? If you have 17" wheels on your 4th Gen then this is some kind of custom fitment and he really should just be comparing your stock OEM tire's load rating and comparing it to the load rating of the 235/45-17 tire, not looking it up in a computer, which shouldn't even show any 17" fitments for your car....

Yeah, I KNOW what's supposed to be correct. I specifically said 98 GLE. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard this from their Costco. Obviously, I opted not to get tires there.
