$600+shipping for EXTRUDE HONED intake--->
contacted Extrude Hone the other day and they sent me back some info on the process, the actual price isn't bad, BUT the down time looks like a KILLER!! 2-3 weeks!!!! since I don't know anyone around my way who could do it and I'm not messing with it myself, might be an alternative, but strictly for when my pockets are STACKED!!!

I'd make a bet that if you look in your yellow pages for a machine, engine, or performance shop, that you would find soemone to do it. If they don't, I bet they will know someone who does! Even some car repair shops can do this.
Damn man that is expensive. I know people around here who will port and polish v-8's for $35. If you were gonna pay $600 to get a port and polish done you sure as hell better get the heads done too and not just the intake
that price is absolutely horrendous compared to what you can get from private shops. look around on the 'net and post on some other forums and I'm sure you'll find a much cheaper alternative.
so lets take a look
at our intake manifolds now if someone is to polish the in sides that means the would have to cut the intake in half in some places because of there tools wont be able to get that far into the intake.... now an extrude process is just a ruff medium that is highly pressurize and put in side the head or intake and pushed out so the medium makes the metal smooth
(its like pushing at the bottom of tube of tooth paste and pushin the paste out thats the process... personally i would port match the intake with the head and then get it extruded
