I recently bought a 93 SE 5 speed, and after reading all of the posts about VTC problems, I'm a little concerned. At what mileage do these problems typically occur, and how serious is it? That is, is it disabling, or just an annoying bit of noise? The car is in excellent condition, with 89,000 miles, and I didn't notice any unusual noise while idling or driving. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
