Tire size for my Max

Can I put 205-55-16 on my Max.....Currently have 215-55-16.

Will I effect performance, ride handling?

I have a 98 SE with stock star type alloys.

Let me know your experience.

They should be just fine. Also 225/50/16 is another size you might want to look at.
