Any opinions about the Kuhmo ECSTA KH11? I read on tirerack that people liked them and they seem to be relatively inexpensive. Money is an issue, so the michelin pilot sports are out of the question. Thanks

For the winter? In VA? I'd start picking your tombstone now.

I think you should decide what performance category you want the tire to be in first, before comparing. The Pilot Sport is a UHP or Max Perf. tire (can't recall off the top of my head) but the new KH11 is supposed to be more comfort oriented, so it's stuck in the Grand Touring category....

If you want UHPAS tires, get Continental ContiExtremeContacts or Pirelli P Nero.

Seriously, I dont know where Gloucester is, but unless its on the beach you're gonna want to get something more...seasonal. I suggest ContiExtremeConcact, but I am partial since I just ordered a set only $111 a pop. $473 shipped (235/45/17)
