Anyone from colorado/cold states??

I just moved to colorado. I lived in NYC and have a problem. When first starting the car in the fridged mornings the power steering sqeeks and stutters when turning. after warming up it seems fine. Is there a problem with the power steering or steering fluid? Fluid has been checked and is fine. I also can notice a considerble differance in power loss coming from a sea level state. Any tricks to getting back that Maxima power? thanks

have you checked the belt tension?
as far as lost power, i don't know any tricks to reverse the laws of nature. at a mile high, there is less usable oxygen. oxygen=power. i guess you can mod like everybody else, but just have less power. at least everybody else here is breathing the same low O2 air.
