Just installed my UDP from UR and I hear a whistling sound. I don't think its the belts, is this the UDP? Anyone else have this problem.

As an aside I'm not looking forward to changing that power steering belt when it goes.

no funny noises here when I installed mine...

 

if its unorthodox then i have to say its normal. ive tried several different belt combos that seemed to help some. it gets even worse when it rains or just high humidity. ive got a 2k1 auto with it and blubyu2k2 has one on his auto and we both have the same noise. we had both asked around before but no one else seemed to experience it. you can try and mess around with the tensioner but we tried the same and it eventually came back.

 

No noise here.

It is not real loud, as I only hear it in my garage. I'll check the belt tension again as well.
