Those who have KH11s step inside

I saw many posts of maxima drivers being pleased when getting the KH11s on the max. My question is fo those of you who have had them on for a while. How is the treadwear and the wear pattern. I'd like to get these on my 2k2 lowered max, but the guy at the tire shop kept talking poo about them. They had an overstock on Goodyear RSA's and he was trying to shove them down my throat.

I didn't have good luck with my Kumhos at all. They were pretty much gone 9,000 miles after being installed. Very cheap tires. No warranty, either. I am having some Mastercraft Avenger LSRs installed as we speak. They have good tread design, and they have a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty, so even if they suck I can still get them replaced. Some people like to spend $800 on tires. I'm not one of them.

For what its worth, I just ordered the Kumhos 716 from Tire Rack for $65/tire. They seem to have a good review on Tire Rack's site and have a treadwear of 50,000 miles.

Read what some people say about the $800 tires. I don't think we "like to spend $800 on tires." IMHO, it can be justified if you get peace of mind and are satisfied with the tires.
