HOLY CRAP! 3 CEL 2 problems! help me with 1. knock sensor, 2.Engine Coolant Temperat
so yeap today i was happily driving my maxima as usual and my gay CEL came out. so i was like alrite wtf is goin on? here's what i got:
1. 0304: knock sensor
2. 0908: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
3. 0103: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
so is 0908 and 0103 suppose to be the same thing? if so, how do i fix my Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor?
for knock sensor, i know i just replace them no problem. just curious, how long does a knock sensor usually last for?

so jason (max95se) had the same problem like mine 2 years ago. thanks to the famous daniel B. martin save my a$$ again. he gave me hella instruction about how to fix it. sorry guys for posting, shoulda search before i post. tomorrow i'm definetly gonna test the ECTS with a ohmmeter before i repair it.

btw if you were too lazy to read that thread, i realized many people on the org have starting problem recently, here's one possibility that may be the cause of the problem:

On my 95 the ECTS was bad a made the car hard to start and it frequently stalled on me. BTW, the temperature gauge gets it,s reading/signal from a different sensor so coolant temp has nothing to do with ECTS failure/codes. It,s job is to take coolant readings and tell computer therefor adjusting fuel mixtures.
