Slipping Auto?

Hey guys, I have looked thru the TSB's and found one for slipping transmission on 00-01 Gen5's, does anyone know if that might apply to 02 models?
I have noticed that my 1-2 shifts seem to take longer than they should under full throttle, or is that normal? I am taking my car in for the Wind noise TSB, was wondering if I should mention the trans issue to the dealer as well?

I would bring it up. You dont have a lot to lose, vehicle is still under powertrain warranty. The only issue with your trans problem, is when you get there, you will have to replicate the problem with the service writer in car. Otherwise, they might be p r i c k s and tell you the trans is fine. My trans sometimes acts up like that, but only when the engine and trans are still relatively cold.

Does it just take long to shift or do you actually hear a whirring sound (sort of) while it's trying to go into 2nd?

If it's just a delay with no sound and such accompanying it, then i say yes that's normal.

But if you actually hear the whirring, then it's the transmission slipping.
