Stillen Y-pipe old vs new
I came across a site that sells the Stillen y pipe for both the 4th and 5th gen for $299 shipped. I emailed them about it and they said it is the older design. If anyone is interested the site is: http://www.afsmotorsports.com
I was wondering how much different the old versus the new Stillen Y-pipe is. What are the differences in power, noise, and longevity?
thanks

Heya Kev
i think theyre all the same, but the new ones might fit just a lil better (some of the older ones are a *****) .. and the new ones have no "bees in a can" or whatever sound.. tho im sure they still make some kinda sound.
as for material, i have no clue, but i know neither is SS.

I was just checkin out the warpspeedperformance.com and they're offering mandrel bent y pipes for $260 (alluminum) and $355 (stainless). They claim that their dyno tested ypipes add 6.6 to 6.7 more horsepower than "the other ypipes" meaning stillen and cattman I presume.
Hmmmm
Alright, Looks like I'll be saving up for the Warpspeed y-pipe. Hey Dave, once it stops raining, we should work on that tail light project. Also, I need help with my corner light. I can't figure out how to get the bulb out. gimme an email sometime when you're not busy (like when you're at work)hehe.
