Hesitation at 3200-3500 RPM's

My car feels like it's loosing steam between 3200 snd 3500 rpm's. I cleaned injector with BG44k, cleaned air filter and TB. Variable intake works fine. any thoughts?
Thanks
Nik

Here is a link to a Technical Service Bulletin that may apply to yout car. Not sure what year or what tranny you have but read this if it applies call the Dealership for an appointment.

Or go here to search open TSB's for your year if other than a 2002 or 2003.

I've been having the sort of the same problem. Does your max make a slight rattling noise at low rpms. ( sounds like marbles in a can shaken really fast). If so, that may be spark knock. I know in my case that I have a bad ignition coil. I have a '00 and have never replaced the coils and i'm lucky that i've made it this far without having to replace them. use the search and read up on the symptoms of having one or multiple bad coils. The stock coils are pitiful, especially in '00 models.

It could also be a failing MAF. I cleaned mine out and a lot of the power returned after that. Also could be a misfiring spark. Good luck.

That could be the case. Mine seemed to lose power around that RPM range sometimes and then more recently I'd getting rattling. I only, after a while, found out it was spark knock due to bad coils. I replaced all six (buy them from somebody on the forums - don't pay $650 for your local dealer to do them, since you can buy the whole set for around 300 and do it yourself in 30 min), and hesitation and knocking have gone away entirely except for a very subtle ocassional knock, which I'm still trying to get sorted out, but 95% of my knocking was due to that bad coil.
