i'm a newbie to this whole car mod thing...so bare with me. i recently decided to not get an audi s4 and keep my max for a few more years. as i am getting tired of the same old stock car, i wanted to put some money into new wheels and wanted to lower the car a little bit. does anyone in the bay area know a good place to get this done? any recommendations for springs and/or wheels that go well with the '99 SE Limited? Thanks in advance.

most of the people seem to like the Eibach/Tokico setup for price. IF your want to go all out you can get the Cattman coilovers or cheaper route is Ground Controls and then get some struts. supposely KYB AGX's is coming out next year. Whatever you choose, we can do the install for you if your interested. Lemme know. Later

Don't get tokico's... If I were gonna do it, for street I'd get H&R with the Koni Sports. That'd give you a nice drop with decent ride. The Koni's need some work to fit on, so it would probably cost a fair bit to get it all installed or you could do it yourself. My coilovers took about 6 hours to install, 2 hours of that spent adjusting and running out for parts, and I'd never done anything like that before. It's really not too bad. Cattman's coilovers are nice, and they work fine on street, but I just think they're overkill if you're not racing. Ground Control might come in a couple hundred bucks cheaper, but I don't think it's worth it because of the extra hassle (cattman's are shocks, adjustable camber plates, springs, and coilovers all assembled).
