interior/exterior temp gauge...? anyone have one (aftermarket)

i keep almost buying a wayfinder 6000c off of ebay but don't really want any of the other functions. some seem interesting, but all i really want is a digital temperature gauge that has both interior and exterior. i'm sure someone has to have something like this...i know a lot of cars come with it stock, so i'd like to add this to my max. any help is appreciated. if there aren't any that are just for temp, i guess i'll resort to the wayfinder cuz they seem awesome, just have way more than i'm looking for with all their functions. thanks

There is one at Canadian Tire for $18. It is a digital thermometer running on one AAA battery with a wire probe I fished up to in between the front grille and the rad. There must be one similar in a auto part store in your area.

I bought a cheap but functional one from Target. It is about 4 inches long, with a clock and inside/outside temperature. Has a wire about 10 ft long, so you can easily run it to the front of the grill. I just use it to tell when the roads are gonna be iced over or not, and for $10, you can't beat it.

Hey, I believe Craig (Brace) has one that he - engineered to go where his clock sits at. Probably not what you may be looking for, since you've got a 4th Gen and he as a 3rd Gen, but it wouldn't hurt to check it out. Especially since he had something at one time or another on how he went about doing this 'mod' on his website.

thanx, i tried looking on his homepage when i saw his name on your buddies but he doesn't seem to have it anymore. i also looked for his name on the member search list but didn't see it, maybe i'm just tired and missed it... do you have his org name so i can pm him maybe?

i really like the look of the wayfinder but it's kinda pricey and has so many options i don't really need to use (currently atleast).
