finished keyless entry.. doors, lights, trunk and .....window!!
well, finally got it all done... trunk pops, and insted of the horn beeping on lock/ unlock i connected it to that funcky key pad beep so it sounds tite and beeps for the lock, unlock, and then we found the wire for the drivers window. Beats me why both of the fronts didnt work like on the keypad button, only the drivers did, so we wired the second output on the keyless to it, didnt even require a relay, and viola!! my drivers window goes down when i hold the lock button. other then that, dome lights required a relay, so did the trunk pop, and thats about it. so everything is hooked up on it, i love it! any q's feel free to ask and ill answer best i can.
sweetness man.
Hey brandon, I'm dying to know how you got it to work with your windows. I had no idea which was a window wire when I was installing my system. Also, would anyone know which was the Sunroof wire? I definite want to run that too. Too bad I dont have a power trunk pop, but maybe that will come too. How do I have to set up the dome light? I might just want the door lights to go on, but I couldnt find that wire either. If you have any pics or instructions on how to set up the window, that would be cool. Also, do they just go down? Can you make them go up too? Thanks.

Oh yeah, while I was down there, I found this connector that wasnt connected to anything. Have any ideas?

Hey clark, i dont think im going to be able to help you much with the windows and sunroof or even the dome lights, because i accesed all of those from the keyless entry keypad box that is only on the GXE's. That is also al the way on the passenger side, so i have no clue where the wires could be on your car. I know that the wire color for the window is all brown, i dunno whether that will help much, and i dont have a sunroof (BOOHOO!) so i couldnt help ya with that. But i can only put the drivers window down from the remote (its not auto down either, i hold the button on the remote while it goes down), and cant put it back up, but you can buy modulator things that do that for you. We just found the wire for the windows, so i figured wede hook it up for the hell of it, even if its just one window. I dont know why the passenger window doesnt work from the same wire, because on that keypad on the door it puts down both of the front windows. Oh well, hehe not like you care anywyas, cause you got an SE. The dome light wire is just the wire connected to the doors, and i also dont konw where to access it on your car, but i do know that it required a relay which we hooked up. Unfortunatly i dont remember the wire color of it. Sorry i couldnt help you better.
OH and the plug in the picture, i asked about that too before and someone told me it was just to hook up the a computer or something, i guess for repairs.. mine always falls down and its annoying, i have to keep shoving it back up there haha. Anyways, talk to ya later, Brandon

Brandon, thanx for the info. I will someday take a few hours to test every wire down there to see which ones work for me. At least now I know to try the brown wires
Hopefully you can get both windows to go down eventually. I guess my question which you cant answer was how do you get power to the power window switch without the ignition? Does the keyless entry system provide it? I dont know. I guess Im not the only one with that damn plug falling down all the time. That **** is annoying! Duct tape fixes everything though

hehe yea, duct tape, mans best friend... yes my keyless entry unit provides the power for the window. One warning, hehe the wires on the car are whack, where the window wire was, there were 2 otehr brown wires, one with a white stripe ended up being a main power wire, hehe and we tried it and pop! blew the fuse for batt pwr or whatever its labeled in the fuse box. BUt i guess thats what theyre there for! haha have fun testing, just what we did to find al the wires, PITA.
