P0440 EVAP system leak???

had my buddy at autozone pull this cel P0440 EVAP system leak. any ideas on what could be giving me this code? the cel went out after the gas cap was removed and screwed back on, could this be the problem? is it possible that i have something more serious?

yeah did they use a hand held orange reader? that is the one i have... the code #s are wrong from that reader... i checked some1s codes today and i got wrong #s ..

anyone know how maybe to translate this stupid macxhine?
