center console conversion 95 to 97

what parts would i need to put the 97 center console in a 95 maxima....would stuff like my old lid from the old console fit or would i need a new everything

The console will have a gap and look odd. The shroud where the cig lighter is will not fit also. The consols are diff.

i guess well need to see pics then.......anybody?
the 95 console cant hold 2 coffees....useless

i correct my self

.......97 will not take 99 console... Cup holders are diff but fit.

Also i belive consoles change dependant on 5speed/auto.

i had a 95 GLe and put a 97 middle console in with NO PROBLEMS. They are the exact same thing only different cup holders, different locations for heated seats and different lid and arm rest compartment. 95-96 are bigger or atleast have a bigger lid.

Gains for converting - better looking, real cup holders

negatives - i think smaller compartment
