oh, so 5 series and x5 dont count lol

those pedals are nice, and should bolt right up....like any pedals (one bolt) You just need a set. Pics on someones car wouldnt help because it would just be pedals...and carpet

from the pic, it looks like the pedal is attached to the floor as well as the attachment at the top. I have no idea how you would do this on the max, but it is different looking. I dunno how comfortable that would end up being though. good luck if you try it

I have a feeling that they'd work just as well as the stock pedals.

No.

That's on a BMW. BMWs are better than Nissans.

there is no way you'll be able to just bolt this on without some serious modification to the maxima... it's possible but I don't think it's worth it...

u could run some nuts n bolts from under the carpet to a rod that u can use as a pivot point for the pedal, but in my opinion its not that great, for one because they pedal tends to get gunked up on that pivot point and becomes hard to press etc.

ok well if you really want to bolt them to the floor (duh...i did notice they were bolted down, but saw no point to do that) you need to drill through the floor pan and bolt it down through the pan, under the car. worth it? no

Have you ever heard of epoxy? Cut the carpet in the shape of the base and then glue that base down to the floor. And don't tell me epoxy won't hold it cause it will.

yeah, that was my general idea of going about it.

Why would i want to do this? simple; it looks better. Obviously there is no performace gain to it...

I always liked those pedals, should be a pretty easy bolt on, the only hard part would be to cut off the gas pedal

That's the reason BMW's have always been rated #1 as far as throttle tip-in feel is concerned...And besides I would imagine it would be easier to heel-toe downshift with a pedal like that...

So where have you seen these official rankings based on "throttle tip-in feel"?

I've never even heard of the competition

Car & Driver, Motor Trend... It's not an official ranking per se, but whenever they do a comparo involving a BMW and cars in it's class, one of the comments they usually make is "best throttle tip-in" from the 3-series all the way up. Just an observation. And I don't really know of any other car make that uses these type of gas pedals. Maybe I'm mistaken...
