Infinity Kappa owners

The last two days it has been extremely cold here in Boston, about 10-18 degrees in the morning. It seems as if my Kappa component woofers don't like the cold weather. My woofers distort and sometimes shut off completely first thing in the morning when its really cold out, the tweeters always work fine. I checked all connections and they are tight. I also noticed that after my car warms up the woofers seem to be fine. Is this normal for Infinity Kappa's in cold weather? If so this winter is going to suck and i may have to get new speakers.
