I got my 1996 GLE! It was a different one than i was talking about in my previous thread ( http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....2&goto=newpost ) But I wanna thank those who responded. I'm coming from a 1993 SE so I was a newb (and still am to the fourth gens. Here are the specs:

1996 Maxima GLE
3.0 liter v6 yada yada yada
100k miles
Leather, Bose, power seats, alloy wheels, the whole works.
I paid 5900 total. It came with new tires (Good tires I might add) and pads. The tranny's in good shape. tight shifting and no stalls. The whole thing is very well maintained. It does have a new hod where the guy nailed a Jeep Wrangler. He messed up telling me that because the new hood was a perfect match for the rest of the paint. So I then got 300 knocked off hehe. Anyway, the thing's in great shape. It's dark green w/ beige leather interior. Well, I guess i have now officially moved from the 3rd gen forums to the 4th.

 

5900 seems quite high...

 

5900 is not high at all for 100k friend paid 6500 last year for a 96 gle 98k miles car was mint

 

Who cares what you pay... as long as you are happy with your purchase

I bought my 95 over 2 years ago for 5,800. Sounds real similar to mine with the GLE leather, bose, sunroof, etc. Mine had 94k when i bought it...I think I got a pretty sweet deal
