Hello,

I am planning to install Kappas 60.5 components. Can I use the stock speaker wire on my 2003 Maxima non-bose? If not what gauge wire do people use on these components?

Does someone know what the best way is to get to the battery? I have not found a good way to get thru the firewall. There is a small plastic grommet on the firewall (driver side) but I can't fit 8 gauge wire through and drilling a bigger hole is going to be a challenge.

I purchased a Basslink and I am about to buy an amp to run the components. What is the best way to get power to the amp? Do I run another line to the battery or ???? I am planning to use 8 gauge wire with the basslink. Is this good enough?

u can use the stock wires. use 4 guage wire and run it to a distribution block. from the dist block run 8 gauge to each amp. where do u plan to mount the 4 channel amp?

 

I am planning to mount the Basslink in the trunk. The Amp will probably go there as well.

Do you have any idea of how to get to the battery from the inside?

not sure since i dont have accest to a 5th gen. but i definately suggest running a 4 gauge power wire. i have my hole drilled under the brake booster on the fire wall

I noticed that the Basslink calls for a 20Amp fuse while the amp that I am planning to use requires a 30amp fuse. How would I handle this running a 4 gauge wire to the Dist. Block and a single fuse?

Alrite, I had this same problem as well. I guess the only way is to drill a few holes to get that cable. Go to

put a 50 or 60 amp fuse on the 4 gauge cable near the battery.
