hi guys, i know this topic been discuseed.
i just have this question. what is the easiest way for an auto maxima to have 265 hp instead of 222 [for 01] w/o supercharging it...
first mod i guess is Y pipe which will give only few hp...

so anything else?

Just curious - why 265? You'll be hard pressed to get 40+ hp with bolt ons
Y-Pipe
Intake
UDP
Cat-back
Headers (cattman has em out)
Straight Pipe
or go the quick way: NOS
Lighter wheels ~ hp, quicker acceleration

 

Or buy a 2002+ Max

 

I dont know why you want 265 hp but the easiest way is nitrous as mentioned above.

 

intake, header, y-pipe, catback, udp. 5 basic mods

I think you may be able to because it seems as though he wants 265 hp at the flywheel, not at the wheels. I really really doubt you could get 265 whp without spray or boost as Asu mentioned above.

 

Ofcouse not whp but i was talking about crank hp

 

I am pretty sure you could get 265 hp at the crank with the bolts ons you suggested.

 

So mixonchik, crank 265HP you could achieve w/ major bolts on. For 265WHP, you need boost or spray

 

sorry to break it to ya but the most you can get out of those exhaust mods(including headers) w/ an intake would be ~20-25 hp
