anyone have Pioneer DEH1500?

I'm looking for a somewhat cheap, yet good quality HU. I'm staying away from Sony at all costs...is this one good for the money. If not, any suggestions for a not so expensive HU?

Also, I'm planning on replacing the speakers too...again, suggestions for speakers that would fit a teenager's budget would be great.

I have BOSE if that helps.

what about the 2-series, i forget the specific number, 2500 maybe? I was looking at that and it isn't much more expensive at all, is that what I need. I definitely plan on adding an amp, for my 4 speakers and probably an eventual sub.

Looks like I've kind of narrowed it down to Pioneer DEH-P6500 or the Alpine CDA-7995. Look like the earliest in their respective line with preamp outputs. They both have 3 pair, is this enough?
