Hey all,

Just wondering. I have some money to spare, but mind you not much. around 275-300. I was wondering if there were some really cool rims for my black 95 GLE that would go for around that on like ebay or something. I don't want wire rims. If you have the time just drop a suggestion. Thanks

Its all your own opinion. Personally I think 5 spoked rims look the best, but thats just me. Some other people might think otherwise. So whatever you think looks good, go with. Theres also a link at maximadriver.com that lets you see what your car would look like with certain kinds of rims, you should go check it out.

You could even try http://www.tirerack.com.

It also allows you to see what your car will look like with different rims and if you like, and they're in your price range, you can buy em.

That amount of budget means used rims...

But 300ZX and RX-7 rims aren't bad.
You could paint them white for that matter.

If you like Konig WIldcards, I'll have a set available soon (16x7). Let me know

For that price, I don't think it will be easy to find any thing good...

depends on what size you are looking for though... 15's are cheaper, 16, 17, 18 are more expensive accordingly.
People pay 800-2,000 even more for a good set of rims.. You can probably find a nice set of 16" 5-spoke 97-99 SE rims for around 450-500$ with tires.

There's a guy in Florida selling 18x7.5" 45mm offset RacingHart wheels for $500 (listed at 550) on Xrims.com, one of the Maxima.org advertisers.

I'd buy them NOW if I had not just bought Akita AK2's, 18x7.5" 40mm offset.

The Akita's are great, but the Hart's are sweet looking too and maybe a little more 'modest' than the Akitas.

If you want 6 spoke AK2's -I'll trade my wheels for his 5 spoke Hart's. But the package, once you buy wheels and lugs, etc... will end up being close to a grand.

This next one is not my car... I honestly don't know whose -but it's nice:

I have those same racinghart rims in 19". I absolutely love them on my max! Actually I just refinished them and about to paint the inside a gunmetal gray with the polished lip and center piece. Could've paid for new rims but I just couldn't part with my racingharts. But I think you would have a hard time buying from a store because they are discontinued. I would jump all over that sale if I were in the market for some great rims at a great price.

It's funny to hear such *****ing about this thread, but I see No Less than 10 of you adding in. hypocrites.

And what's with the 'fogs are Green' boiler plate on every thread with that white car. Hell if you like Green, go for it. I'm just glad I'm not relying on you guys for your good taste.
