I realize this is probably the wrong folder, but could someone please tell me what I need to do to make 6.5" speakers fit in the door of my 94SE w/ Bose. I know of some pods for sale on this forum if someone can point me in the right direction.....Search function not working....Thanks

 

just buy them from James92se.... its sooo worth it. and I made my own, lol.

You mentioned that you made your own....I am pretty handy at making stuff. I don't suppose you could tell me what it involves to make a set?

 

a board of MDF, jig saw, drill, and those sanding bits really help. some time, patience and a solid head.

oh yeah, and a pencil and paper help in making templates.

 

Cardboard works nice for templates

 

I made my own too,replicating the plastic pods using layers of plywood.Spent a lot of time making them.For 32 bucks I think I'd forego making some again.

I'm skeered..his interior is exactly like mine..but..2 years newer..now I'm gonna have to get creative to make mine look better..pfft..

I think once my "must get" list gets a little shorter, I think I'm going to have to buy a set of those pods..the snow has hit and I can't make my own templates

 

i just shaved my factory speaker pods to fit 5X9 kicker impulses in my car.

 

factory bose or factory 4x6?
