replacing knock sensor with a resistor

Im tryin to replace my knock sensor with a resistor i know what the resistor should be 550Kohms right? well my question is wat voltage should the resistor be? Thx

Suggest you turn on the engine and probe the voltage at the ks connector, if you have a multimerter or voltmeter. With the impedance at 550 K ohms, I assume the voltage is 12 V.

The question should be wat wattage should the resistor be, they are only rated by resistance and wattage.

1/4 or 1/2 watt will work fine.
